King Louie, the label was established over 30 years ago in the creative hub of central Amsterdam, by designers Ann Berlips and George Cramer. Sharing an interest in vintage clothing, they have been passionate about developing clothing that makes people happy, designing their prints themselves, with bright colours and a good fit.

King Louie is a leading member of the FWF "Fair Wear Foundation", an independent organisation committed to improving working conditions in the clothing industry. Not this but 10% of their clothing comes with GOTS certification "Global Organic Textiles Standard", meaning that based on organic fibre and production compliance, the clothing is fully sustainable. For example, King Louie dresses are made of recycled polyester are manufactured from recycled PET bottles!
